The original SIOG statutes were approved by the General Assembly on 25 October 2012 in Manchester, United Kingdom. A second version was approved during the SIOG Virtual General Assembly on November 6, 2021. An updated version was approved during the SIOG General Assembly on 18 October 2024, in Montreal, Canada.
