Geneva/Tianjin 19 May 2026 - The International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for cooperation in oncology care for older adults. The agreement aims to strengthen coordination, promote education, enhance scientific exchange, and support the global development of geriatric oncology. Through this partnership, SIOG and CACA will collaborate on academic activities, international congresses, expert engagement, scientific programs, and publication opportunities. Key areas of cooperation include the mutual promotion of major events, co-hosted webinars, summits, symposia and workshops – such as the recently concluded CACA-SIOG Virtual Summit 2026 in April 30 and a planned CACA-SIOG Symposium during the 2026 China Congress of Holistic Integrative Oncology in Changsha, Hunan Province, PRC.
