The SIOG Country Group is a subset of the SIOG National Representatives and serves as an advisory body reflecting the national context and priorities of geriatric oncology programmes within each country.
It provides recommendations and expert input to support the development of SIOG’s Annual Work Plan and is led and consulted by the SIOG National Representative (NR) for each country.
More specifically, members:
- Provide input on SIOG’s achievements, progress, and activities within their national context
- Ensure scientific priorities align with national research agendas
- Identify opportunities for collaboration while reducing duplication of efforts across initiatives
