SIOG Members

SIOG members share a passion to bring good clinical practices in the elderly. Current SIOG membership comprises over 1700 individual members in 80 countries and continues to grow. Our current members include scientists, surgical oncologists, geriatricians, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, psychologists, sociologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals active in the area of clinical practice interested in and/or involved in the management of older patients with cancer.

  • Submit articles to the Journal of Geriatric Oncology (JGO), the leading journal specifically dedicated to geriatric oncology;

SIOG Membership Types

  • Standard - 132€: Entitles you to online subscription to JGO and CROH, discount registration fee for the SIOG Annual Conference and SIOG Advanced Courses, get involved in SIOG activities, vote on the governance of SIOG, access SIOG guidelines, receive the SIOG bi-monthly newsletter and much more.
  • Special 1 - 60€: Entitles you to online subscription to JGO and CROH, discount registration fee for the SIOG Annual Conference and SIOG Advanced Courses, get involved in SIOG activities, vote on the governance of SIOG, access SIOG guidelines, receive the SIOG bi-monthly newsletter and much more. It is limited to applicants from upper-middle income countries (according to World Bank criteria). This membership is limited to - nurses, non-MD and/or non-PhD applicants from all countries and - applicants from low and lower-middle income countries (according to World Bank criteria). This membership is limited to Trainees, Medical Students, Residents and Fellows. A proof (certificate or Student ID) will be asked for verification.
  • Emeritus - 55€: Entitles you to online subscription to JGO and CROH, discount registration fee for the SIOG Annual Conference and SIOG Advanced Courses, get involved in SIOG activities, vote on the governance of SIOG, access SIOG guidelines, receive the SIOG bi-monthly newsletter and much more. This membership is limited to retired experts with a legacy at SIOG.

SIOG membership runs yearly from January 1st to December 31st.
