Save the Date!

The 5th webinar of the ABC Web Series on OPTIMAL MANAGEMENT OF AN OLDER FRAIL PATIENT WITH ADVANCED/METASTATIC BREAST CANCER will happen on 15 June 2023, from 13:30-14:30 CEST with distinguished speakers Fatima Cardoso, Laura Biganzoli, Etienne Brain, Matti Aapro, and Elizabeth Bergsten Nordström. In each webinar of the series, we will discuss challenging clinical issues, for which available data is scarce, and hence expert guidance is key. This discussion will lead to the development of a new guideline statement that will then be further discussed and voted during the ABC 7 Consensus Conference. The ABC Consensus Conference started from the willingness to change the outcomes of ABC patients. The project on Geriatric Oncology, held in collaboration with SIOG (International Society of Geriatric Oncology) foresees 4 short podcasts and 4 Meet the experts webinars. Medical practices and knowledge are continuously and rapidly evolving. New diagnostics tests, therapies and recommendations are always added to the market and studies are constantly performed to reassess relative efficacies of current treatment options. Continuing education addresses these issues in order to keep clinicians up-to-date on new information, as well as reinforce quality information. Patients also have ongoing educational needs related to health literacy and understanding treatment options.
