Phichai Chansriwong, MD, is a medical oncologist working in Department of Internal Medicine in Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. He received his medical degree in 1998 from Mahidol University, completed his Internal medicine residency from Siriraj Hospital in 2003 and Medical Oncology fellowship in Ramathibodi Hospital in 2006. He has graduated in Master of Palliative care from Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia in 2014. He has experience in working with patients with both oncology patients and palliative care patients. His areas of interest include genitourinary tract cancer, palliative care and geriatric oncology. Doctor Chansriwong gives lectures to medical university students, nurse students, medical professionals- physicians/GPs and oncology and internal medicine residents. He is an active member of SIOG, ESMO, MASCC and ASCO. In 2017, Doctor Chansriwong was a scientific review of the abstracts for the IASLC 18th World Conference on Lung Cancer in Japan. And, he has received National Public Service Award 2017 in development the Home Chemotherapy Rama Model to provide ambulatory chemotherapy in Thailand.
