Nienke de Glas (1987) is a Medical Doctor and clinical epidemiologist. Her research focuses on individualizing breast cancer treatment in older women. In 2015; she completed her PhD Cum Laude (with honors) at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). With her research; she has won several awards; and she has recently received a large research grant of the Dutch Cancer Foundation. Currently; she is working as a resident in internal medicine and as a postdoc in Geriatric Oncology at the LUMC. In 2013; Nienke coinitiated the Young SIOG working group; of which she was the chair until 2018.
