Current/prior trainees: We trained more than 50 international scholars for stays from 1-12 months, and numerous short-term visitors.
US fellows: Geriatric oncology electives for fellows from other programs can be organized and recognized . For more complete training, our program provides geriatric oncology training as a rotation within Moffitt’s ACGME oncology/hematology fellowship program. Program Opportunities

Clinical: Rotations in an established geriatric oncology clinic. Typically 1-3 months. For international scholars: observorships. For US fellows, can be arranged as an elective rotation.
Research: Extensive geriatric oncology research program. Clinical/translational. Typically 6-12 months.
Funding available: As a general rule, no Moffitt funding. We can assist research scholars in applying for grants. ACGME elective are supported per ACGME rules.
Duration of program: Typically 1-3 months for clinical rotations/observorships; 6-12 months for research fellowships.
