Since the onset of the pandemic, the world has changed dramatically. One thing has remained constant: the resilience and adaptability of global healthcare systems. As healthcare professionals worldwide continue to deliver care and treatment in older cancer patients, SIOG experts discussed how COVID-19 has impacted the patient experience and highlight the next steps to improve cancer care for patients in the future.
