Nicole Saur, MD, FACS, FASCRS is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She did her General Surgery training at Tufts Medical Center and her Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She became a member of SIOG via the mentorship of Isacco Montroni and Riccardo Audisio. She is proud to have participated in the GOSAFE study and other initiatives of the Surgical ad-hoc Committee and to now serve as the vice-chair. She is looking forward to working with the Surgical ad-hoc Committee to collaborate with SIOG members and continue to establish inter-society initiatives.
