Dr Marcus Vetter is a medical oncologist trained in Basel, Switzerland (University Hospital) and United Kingdom (Royal Marsden Hospital, London). He is dedicated breast oncologist and gynecologic oncology specialist and the head of the department of hematology, oncology and immunotherapy at the Cantonal hospital Baselland, Medical University clinic Baselland. His research is focused on optimizing breast cancer treatment, treatment of gynecologic cancer and studies in the field of geriatric oncology. Dr Vetter is core member of the SAKK breast Cancer project group and member of Several in international associations : SAKK, IBCSG, ESMO and FMH. He published more then 50 peer reviewed articles in the field of oncology.
