Pharmacist for over 20 years, working in variety of different areas of the pharmacy profession from community pharmacies and pharmaceutical industry to different teaching hospitals in Bulgaria and UK. I specialised in oncology in 2014 taking on both technical and clinical roles, completing Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice in 2014 and qualifying as an independent prescriber in 2019. As oncology pharmacist I have an experience in haemato-oncology/solid tumors and currently work as part of Senior adults oncology team which aim to deliver personalized and holistic care for cancer patients aged >/=70 years. My specialist clinical areas of interest are geriatric oncology, breast, lung, haemato-oncology cancers and I work with the clinical teams at Royal Marsden hospital to ensure that the patient with cancer get the most out of their medicines. I am currently working on different projects involving deprescrbing and optimizing patients treatment, innovative ways of working across various settings in the health care system in UK.
