Anthracyclines in the Elderly Task Force

Anthracyclines remain the cornerstone of first-line therapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and metastatic and early breast cancer, but can cause chronic heart failure. As the elderly are at increased risk of such an event, the aim of the taskforce is to issue recommendations concerning the use of anthracyclines in elderly cancer patients.
