Responsibilities of a SIOG National Representative (NR) |

- SIOG NRs are volunteers
- NRs are intended to be full members of SIOG ;
- NRs receive full benefits including the SIOG official journal "Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology" by paying their annual membership fee ;
- NRs are willing to promote good scientific relationships between geriatricians and all cancer specialists ;
- NRs are prepared to serve as pionneer in establishing the fields of geriatric oncology and of oncogeriatrics ;
- NRs are willing to advertise and recruit members for SIOG from every disciplines dealing with cancer and the elderly.
- NRs are willing to work to try and establish a National Chapter of SIOG
As you can read, SIOG is expecting great enthusiasm and
deep involvement from its NRs ! |
