Schroder Sattar (CA)

Schroder Sattar is a registered nurse and a doctoral candidate at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto, Canada.  Schroder’s research focuses on falls in the geriatric oncology setting.  For her doctoral dissertation, Schroder is currently investigating the circumstances of falls as well as how falls might impact cancer treatment in community-dwelling older cancer patients.  Some of Schroder's publications in geriatric oncology include a systematic review on falls, a clinical guideline on implementation of geriatric assessment, as well as older cancer patients’ treatment decision-making.  Upon completion of her PhD, Schroder plans to pursue research in the geriatric oncology field.
