Morten Quist (DK)

Dr Morten Quist is a physiotherapist clinician-researcher with expertise in exercise for patients with cancer. He is the cofounder of the “body and Cancer” and founder of the EXHALE program. He is a Lecturer at The University of Copenhagen. Dr Quist received his PhD from The University of Copenhagen in 2015, on the topic of Exercise and Advanced Stage Lung Cancer; and a master in Health Research from The University of Copenhagen in 2011, and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1998.

He received the Danish Cancer Society honour award in 2015. Dr Quist is co applicant on various research projects and received over $US 4.500.000 in grant funding. He has over 23 peer reviewed journal publications; and having received numerous invitations to present at international and national conferences. Dr Quist has run numerous of courses for physiotherapists. Besides his research he has co-founded and co-created two exercise communities in Denmark (Proof of Life and PACT) for both cancer survivors and patients with cancer. Proof of life is an exercise community for young cancer survivors’ between18-40 and PACT (physical activity after cancer treatment) is an exercise community for cancer patients with no age level.
