Graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, specialist in internal medicine, geriatric medicine and rehabilitation.  Head of the Department of Geriatrics, Medical University of Warsaw, teacher in undergraduate and postgraduate education in the field of geriatric medicine. Researcher engaged in aging and longevity studies including Genetics of Healthy Aging (GEHA), Polish Centenarians Project (PolStu) and Medical, psychological, sociological and economic aspects of aging in Poland (PolSenior). Author of multiple publications in the field of gerontology and geriatrics. Special field of interest: cognitive impairment, dementia and late onset depression.
