Junsung Choi (US)

Dr. Junsung Choi is a Senior Member and Director of Interventional Radiology in the department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology at the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute.  He specializes in minimally invasive percutaneous and catheter directed interventional oncology treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. His interests include Yttrium-90 radioembolization and chemoembolization of primary and secondary liver malignancies, percutaneous ablation of liver and renal tumors, and percutaneous hepatic perfusion for the treatment of liver metastases.

Dr. Choi received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Hospital of Saint Rafael in New Haven CT followed by fellowship training in Advanced Imaging and Interventional Radiology at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center before joining the Moffitt faculty.
