Area of research interest: supportive care; pathophysiology and treatment of cancer-related anorexia/cachexia; pathogenesis and treatment of cancer-related anemia; gynecologic oncology, mainly ovarian cancer, with particular interest in ovarian cancer-related inflammation and associated symptoms; endocrine-related cancers;  oxidative stress; immunocompetence of cancer patients and immunotherapy; combined modality  treatment of gynecological tumors; quality of life.
