Cindy Kenis (BE)

Cindy Kenis (PhD, MScN, RN) works as a geriatric oncology nurse at the University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium. Her daily clinical practice and research is fully related to the implementation of comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) in the care for older patients with cancer.

During the past years, she has given national and international several lectures according to this topic. She’s also frequently asked to give educational sessions in different kinds of settings: medical students, nursing students, other health care professionals,… She has published in a number of well-known peer reviewed journals and has contributed to book chapters in the field of geriatric oncology.

In 2016 she has been elected as chair of the Nursing & Allied Health Interest Group of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG).
