SIOG & GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect on May 25, 2018 and will harmonise existing data protection legislation within the European Union. The GDPR will change the way companies and organisations seek, collect and store the personal data of EU citizens.

This is a good time to review if you would like to continue receiving information about SIOG events, education or membership.

You have two options:
Option 1 (no action required): Remain on the SIOG mailing list and continue to receive:

  • SIOG Annual Conference
  • SIOG Advanced Course
  • SIOG Newsletters

Option 2: Withdraw your permission to receive our emails by sending an email to the SIOG Head Office (
